महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-43, verse-50

असौ कर्णः सुसंरब्धः पाञ्चालानभिधावति ।
केतुमस्य हि पश्यामि धृष्टद्युम्नरथं प्रति ।
समुच्छेत्स्यति पाञ्चालानिति मन्ये परंतप ॥५०॥
50. asau karṇaḥ susaṁrabdhaḥ pāñcālānabhidhāvati ,
ketumasya hi paśyāmi dhṛṣṭadyumnarathaṁ prati ,
samucchetsyati pāñcālāniti manye paraṁtapa.
50. asau karṇaḥ susaṃrabdhaḥ pāñcālān
abhidhāvati ketum asya hi paśyāmi
dhṛṣṭadyumnaratham prati samucchetśyati
pāñcālān iti manye paraṃtapa

asau susaṃrabdhaḥ karṇaḥ pāñcālān abhidhāvati.

50. That Karna, highly enraged, is attacking the Pāñcālas. Indeed, I see his banner positioned against Dhṛṣṭadyumna's chariot. O tormentor of enemies (paraṃtapa), I believe he will utterly destroy the Pāñcālas.
