हतविद्रुतसैन्यास्तु निरुत्साहा विचेतसः ।
निरीक्षितुं न शेकुस्ते भीष्ममप्रतिमं रणे ।

74. With their armies slain and scattered, disheartened and bewildered, they (the Pāṇḍava forces) were unable to look at Bhīṣma, who was unrivaled in battle, blazing with his own might like the midday sun.
