महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-102, verse-36

अवध्यानां वधं कृत्वा राज्यं वा नरकोत्तरम् ।
दुःखानि वनवासे वा किं नु मे सुकृतं भवेत् ॥३६॥
36. avadhyānāṁ vadhaṁ kṛtvā rājyaṁ vā narakottaram ,
duḥkhāni vanavāse vā kiṁ nu me sukṛtaṁ bhavet.
