महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-221, verse-74

शतं महिषतुल्यानां दानवानां त्वया रणे ।
निहतं देवशत्रूणां यैर्वयं पूर्वतापिताः ॥७४॥
74. śataṁ mahiṣatulyānāṁ dānavānāṁ tvayā raṇe ,
nihataṁ devaśatrūṇāṁ yairvayaṁ pūrvatāpitāḥ.
74. śatam mahiṣatulyānām dānavānām tvayā raṇe
nihitam devaśatrūṇām yaiḥ vayam pūrvatāpitāḥ
74. In battle, a hundred demons similar to Mahisha, enemies of the gods by whom we were formerly tormented, were slain by you.
