महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-221, verse-64

रथमादित्यसंकाशमास्थितः कनकप्रभम् ।
तं दृष्ट्वा दैत्यसेना सा व्यद्रवत्सहसा रणे ॥६४॥
64. rathamādityasaṁkāśamāsthitaḥ kanakaprabham ,
taṁ dṛṣṭvā daityasenā sā vyadravatsahasā raṇe.

64. He was seated in a chariot shining like the sun and radiant like gold. Seeing him, that army of demons suddenly fled from the battle.
