महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-221, verse-30

जज्वाल खं सनक्षत्रं प्रमूढं भुवनं भृशम् ।
चचाल व्यनदच्चोर्वी तमोभूतं जगत्प्रभो ॥३०॥
30. jajvāla khaṁ sanakṣatraṁ pramūḍhaṁ bhuvanaṁ bhṛśam ,
cacāla vyanadaccorvī tamobhūtaṁ jagatprabho.
30. jajvāla kham sanakṣatram pramūḍham bhuvanam bhṛśam
cacāla vyanadat ca urvī tamobhūtam jagat prabho
30. O Lord, the sky, along with its constellations, blazed intensely, and the world became utterly bewildered. The earth trembled and roared, and the entire universe was enveloped in darkness.
