महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-221, verse-51

ततस्तूर्यप्रणादाश्च भेरीणां च महास्वनाः ।
बभूवुर्दानवेन्द्राणां सिंहनादाश्च दारुणाः ॥५१॥
51. tatastūryapraṇādāśca bherīṇāṁ ca mahāsvanāḥ ,
babhūvurdānavendrāṇāṁ siṁhanādāśca dāruṇāḥ.
51. tataḥ tūryapraṇādāḥ ca bherīṇām ca mahāsvanāḥ
babhūvuḥ dānavendrāṇām siṃhanādāḥ ca dāruṇāḥ
51. Then arose the sounds of trumpets and the great roars of kettledrums; and also terrible lion-roars came from the lords of the Dānavas (demons).
