त्वया त्रातं राजकुलं शुभेक्षणे वरं वृणीष्वाप्रतिमं ददानि ते ।
प्रशाधीमं स्वजनं राजपुत्रि इक्ष्वाकुराज्यं सुमहच्चाप्यनिन्द्ये ॥८०॥

Vāmadeva said, 'You have protected the royal family, O fair-eyed one! Choose an unrivaled boon, I shall grant it to you. Rule over these your own people, O princess, and also the very great kingdom of Ikṣvāku, O blameless one!'
