महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-146, verse-74

स्मितेनाभाष्य कौन्तेयं वानरो नरमब्रवीत् ।
किमर्थं सरुजस्तेऽहं सुखसुप्तः प्रबोधितः ॥७४॥
74. smitenābhāṣya kaunteyaṁ vānaro naramabravīt ,
kimarthaṁ sarujaste'haṁ sukhasuptaḥ prabodhitaḥ.

kimartham sarujaḥ te aham sukhasuptaḥ prabodhitaḥ
74. Addressing Kaunteya with a smile, the monkey spoke to the man: "Why have I, who was happily sleeping, been awakened, causing me distress?"
