महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-146, verse-45

ततः सत्त्वान्युपाक्रामन्बहूनि च महान्ति च ।
रुरुवारणसंघाश्च महिषाश्च जलाश्रयाः ॥४५॥
45. tataḥ sattvānyupākrāmanbahūni ca mahānti ca ,
ruruvāraṇasaṁghāśca mahiṣāśca jalāśrayāḥ.
45. tataḥ sattvāni upākraman bahūni ca mahānti ca
ruru-vāraṇasaṃghāḥ ca mahiṣāḥ ca jalāśrayāḥ
45. Then, many great creatures came forth, including herds of ruru deer and elephants, and buffaloes that resided in water.
