महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-49, verse-8

ततः प्रीतस्तु कौन्तेय भार्गवः कुरुनन्दन ।
पुत्रार्थे श्रपयामास चरुं गाधेस्तथैव च ॥८॥
8. tataḥ prītastu kaunteya bhārgavaḥ kurunandana ,
putrārthe śrapayāmāsa caruṁ gādhestathaiva ca.
8. tataḥ prītaḥ tu kaunteya bhārgavaḥ kurunandana
putrārthe śrapayāmāsa carum gādheḥ tathā eva ca
8. kaunteya kurunandana tataḥ tu prītaḥ bhārgavaḥ

8. Then, O son of Kunti, O delight of the Kurus, the pleased Bhārgava (Ṛcīka) cooked a sacred rice offering (caru) for the sake of a son (for his wife), and also one for Gadhi's wife.
