महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-49, verse-9

आहूय चाह तां भार्यामृचीको भार्गवस्तदा ।
उपयोज्यश्चरुरयं त्वया मात्राप्ययं तव ॥९॥
9. āhūya cāha tāṁ bhāryāmṛcīko bhārgavastadā ,
upayojyaścarurayaṁ tvayā mātrāpyayaṁ tava.

upayojyaḥ caruḥ ayam tvayā mātrā api ayam tava

9. Then, having called his wife, Ṛcīka, the descendant of Bhṛgu, said to her, 'This sacred offering (caru) is to be consumed by you, and this one by your mother.'
