ऋचीक उवाच ।
पुत्रे नास्ति विशेषो मे पौत्रे वा वरवर्णिनि ।
यथा त्वयोक्तं तु वचस्तथा भद्रे भविष्यति ॥२६॥

26. ṛcīka uvāca ,
putre nāsti viśeṣo me pautre vā varavarṇini ,
yathā tvayoktaṁ tu vacastathā bhadre bhaviṣyati.

| yathā tvayā uktam tu vacas tathā bhadre bhaviṣyati

26. Ṛcīka said: "O lady of beautiful complexion (varavarṇinī), there is no difference for me between a son and a grandson. Therefore, O gentle lady, just as the word has been spoken by you, so shall it be."
