महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-49, verse-48

ततो वर्षसहस्रेषु समतीतेषु केषुचित् ।
क्षोभं संप्राप्तवांस्तीव्रं प्रकृत्या कोपनः प्रभुः ॥४८॥
48. tato varṣasahasreṣu samatīteṣu keṣucit ,
kṣobhaṁ saṁprāptavāṁstīvraṁ prakṛtyā kopanaḥ prabhuḥ.

saṃprāptavān tīvram prakṛtyā kopanaḥ prabhuḥ
48. tataḥ keṣucit varṣasahareṣu samatīteṣu prakṛtyā
kopanaḥ prabhuḥ tīvram kṣobham saṃprāptavān
48. Then, after some thousands of years had passed, the lord, who was by his very nature (prakṛti) prone to anger, experienced intense agitation.
