महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-49, verse-77

तेषामपचितिश्चैव मया कार्या न संशयः ।
न ह्यहं कामये नित्यमविक्रान्तेन रक्षणम् ॥७७॥

77. teṣāmapacitiścaiva mayā kāryā na saṁśayaḥ ,
na hyahaṁ kāmaye nityamavikrāntena rakṣaṇam.

77. Indeed, I must offer respect (apaciti) to them; there is no doubt about it. For I do not desire constant protection from someone who is not valiant.
