महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-49, verse-52

स पुनः क्षत्रियशतैः पृथिवीमनुसंतताम् ।
परावसोस्तदा श्रुत्वा शस्त्रं जग्राह भार्गवः ॥५२॥
52. sa punaḥ kṣatriyaśataiḥ pṛthivīmanusaṁtatām ,
parāvasostadā śrutvā śastraṁ jagrāha bhārgavaḥ.

parāvasoḥ tadā śrutvā śastram jagrāha bhārgavaḥ
52. tadā parāvasoḥ śrutvā saḥ bhārgavaḥ punar pṛthivīm

52. Then, having heard of Parāvasu, he, Bhārgava (Paraśurāma), again took up his weapon, (seeing) the earth that was covered by hundreds of Kshatriyas.
