महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-335, verse-67

दत्त्वा पितामहायाग्र्यां बुद्धिं लोकविसर्गिकीम् ।
तत्रैवान्तर्दधे देवो यत एवागतो हरिः ॥६७॥
67. dattvā pitāmahāyāgryāṁ buddhiṁ lokavisargikīm ,
tatraivāntardadhe devo yata evāgato hariḥ.

67. Having bestowed upon the grandfather (Brahmā) the supreme intellect for the creation of worlds, the god Hari (Viṣṇu) then vanished right there, from the very place he had appeared.
