वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-31, verse-56

अराक्षसमिमं लोकं कर्तास्मि निशितैः शरैः ।
न चेच्छरणमभ्येषि मामुपादाय मैथिलीम् ॥५६॥
56. arākṣasamimaṃ lokaṃ kartāsmi niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ,
na ceccharaṇamabhyeṣi māmupādāya maithilīm.
56. arākṣasam imam lokam kartā asmi niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ
na cet śaraṇam abhi eṣi mām upādāya maithilīm
56. na cet maithilīm upādāya mām śaraṇam abhi eṣi,
(tadā) niśitaiḥ śaraiḥ imam lokam arākṣasam kartā asmi
56. I will make this world free of rākṣasas with my sharp arrows, if you do not come seeking refuge in me, returning Maithilī.
