अथ तस्मिन्निमित्तानि दृष्ट्वा लक्ष्मणपूर्वजः ।

Then, having observed the omens in that situation, Rama, the elder brother of Lakshmana, spoke these words to Lakshmana, who was endowed with auspicious qualities.
