वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-31, verse-10

दृश्यन्ते न यथावच्च नक्षत्राण्यभिवर्तते ।
युगान्तमिव लोकस्य पश्य लक्ष्मण शंसति ॥१०॥
10. dṛśyante na yathāvacca nakṣatrāṇyabhivartate ,
yugāntamiva lokasya paśya lakṣmaṇa śaṃsati.

yugāntam iva lokasya paśya lakṣmaṇa śaṃsati
10. lakṣmaṇa paśya,
nakṣatrāṇi yathāvat ca na dṛśyante,

10. O Lakṣmaṇa, look! The constellations are not seen properly, and they behave unusually. This, as it were, portends the end of the world's age (yuga).
