मध्यमे च स्वयं गुल्मे सुग्रीवः समतिष्ठत ।
सह सर्वैर्हरिश्रेष्ठैः सुपर्णश्वसनोपमैः ॥३१॥

31. madhyame ca svayaṃ gulme sugrīvaḥ samatiṣṭhata ,
saha sarvairhariśreṣṭhaiḥ suparṇaśvasanopamaiḥ.

31. And Sugriva himself was stationed in the central division, accompanied by all the foremost Vānaras, who were comparable to (suparṇa) Garuḍa and Vāyu.
