महाञ् शब्दो ऽभवत्तत्र बलौघस्याभिवर्ततः ।
सागरस्येव भिन्नस्य यथा स्यात् सलिलस्वनः ॥४५॥

45. mahāñ śabdo'bhavattatra balaughasyābhivartataḥ ,
sāgarasyeva bhinnasya yathā syāt salilasvanaḥ.

45. A great roar arose there, as the mass of troops advanced, like the sound of surging waters when an ocean breaks its bounds.
