ततः काले महाबाहुर्बलेन महता वृतः ।
प्रस्थितः पुरतो धन्वी लङ्कामभिमुखः पुरीम् ॥१६॥

16. Then, at that moment, the mighty-armed (Rāma), surrounded by a vast army, the archer, set forth at the forefront, facing the city of Laṅkā.
