बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-52, verse-43

दायेशादथ रन्ध्रस्थे व्यये वा पापसंयुते ।
वातशूलमहाव्याधिज्वरातीसारपीडनम् ॥४३॥
43. dāyeśādatha randhrasthe vyaye vā pāpasaṃyute .

vātaśūlamahāvyādhijvarātīsārapīḍanam
43. When the lord of the planetary period (dāyeśa) is in the eighth house (randhra) or the twelfth house (vyaya), or is associated with malefic planets (pāpa), there will be affliction by rheumatic pain, severe illnesses, fever, and dysentery.
