क्रव्यादो वा खगो नीलः षण्मासायुः प्रदर्शकः ॥८॥

8. gṛdhraḥ kapotaḥ kākālo vāyaso vāpi mūrdhani .

If a vulture, pigeon, or crow (kākāla or vāyasa), or any other dark-colored or carnivorous bird, sits on a person's head, it is an indicator of a six-month lifespan.
