देवमार्गं ध्रुवं शुक्रं सोमच्छायामरुन्धतीम् ।
यो न पश्येन्न जीवेत् स नरः संवत्सरात् परम् ॥२॥

A person who does not see the path of the gods, the pole star (dhruva), Venus (śukra), the moon's shadow, and Arundhatī will not live beyond a year.
