मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-43, verse-72

राज्यकामुक काशीश भुज्यतां राज्यमूर्जितम् ।
तथा च रोचते तद्वत् सुबाहोः संप्रयच्छ वा ॥७२॥
72. rājyakāmuka kāśīśa bhujyatāṃ rājyamūrjitam .
tathā ca rocate tadvat subāhoḥ saṃprayaccha vā.

72. O King of Kashi, who desires a kingdom, enjoy this prosperous kingdom. Or, if it pleases you to do so, give it to Subahu.
