चिच्छक्तिरेक एवायं यदा नान्योऽस्ति कश्चन ।
तदा का नृपते ज्ञानान्मित्रारिप्रभुभृत्यता ॥७८॥

78. cicchaktireka evāyaṃ yadā nānyo'sti kaścana .
tadā kā nṛpate jñānānmitrāriprabhubhṛtyatā.

cit śaktiḥ ekaḥ eva ayam yadā na anyaḥ asti kaścana
tadā kā nṛpate jñānāt mitra ari prabhu bhṛtyatā

When this power of consciousness (cit śakti) is truly one and there is no other whatsoever, then, O king, what distinction of friend, enemy, master, or servant can arise from (such) knowledge (jñānāt)?
