महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-26, verse-69

इदमपरमुपस्थितं पुनस्तव निधनाय सुयुद्धमद्य वै ।
यदि न रिपुभयात्पलायसे समरगतोऽद्य हतोऽसि सूतज ॥६९॥
69. idamaparamupasthitaṁ puna;stava nidhanāya suyuddhamadya vai ,
yadi na ripubhayātpalāyase; samaragato'dya hato'si sūtaja.
69. idam aparam upasthitam punaḥ tava
nidhanāya su-yuddham adya vai
yadi na ripu-bhayāt palāyase
samara-gataḥ adya hataḥ asi sūta-ja
69. idam aparam su-yuddham punaḥ adya
vai tava nidhanāya upasthitam
yadi ripu-bhayāt na palāyase adya
samara-gataḥ hataḥ asi sūta-ja
69. Indeed, another great battle has come upon you again today, for your destruction. O son of a charioteer, if you do not flee out of fear of the enemy, then, having entered this battle today, you will surely be killed.
