महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-26, verse-47

नेह ध्रुवं किंचिदपि प्रचिन्त्यं विदुर्लोके कर्मणोऽनित्ययोगात् ।
सूर्योदये को हि विमुक्तसंशयो गर्वं कुर्वीताद्य गुरौ निपातिते ॥४७॥
47. neha dhruvaṁ kiṁcidapi pracintyaṁ; vidurloke karmaṇo'nityayogāt ,
sūryodaye ko hi vimuktasaṁśayo; garvaṁ kurvītādya gurau nipātite.
47. na iha dhruvam kiñcit api pracintyam
viduḥ loke karmaṇaḥ anityayogāt
| sūryodaye kaḥ hi vimuktasaṃśayaḥ
garvam kurvīta adya gurau nipātite
47. iha loke karmaṇaḥ anityayogāt kiñcit
api dhruvam na pracintyam viduḥ
adya gurau nipātite sūryodaye hi

47. In this world, nothing at all can be considered truly permanent (dhruva), for people know that everything is impermanent due to its connection with action (karma). With the guru now fallen, who indeed, free from all doubt, could feel pride (garva) at the rising of the sun today?
