महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-26, verse-2

यथा हरिहयैर्युक्तं संगृह्णाति स मातलिः ।
शल्यस्तव तथाद्यायं संयन्ता रथवाजिनाम् ॥२॥
2. yathā harihayairyuktaṁ saṁgṛhṇāti sa mātaliḥ ,
śalyastava tathādyāyaṁ saṁyantā rathavājinām.
2. yathā harihayaiḥ yuktam saṃgṛhṇāti sa mātaliḥ
śalyaḥ tava tathā adya ayam saṃyantā rathavājinām
2. yathā saḥ mātaliḥ harihayaiḥ yuktam saṃgṛhṇāti
tathā adya ayam śalyaḥ tava rathavājinām saṃyantā
2. Just as that Matali controls the horses yoked to Indra's chariot, so too this Shalya will be the charioteer of your chariot-horses today.
