महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-26, verse-66

स्मरसि ननु यदा परैर्हृतः स च धृतराष्ट्रसुतो विमोक्षितः ।
दिनकरज नरोत्तमैर्यदा मरुषु बहून्विनिहत्य तानरीन् ॥६६॥
66. smarasi nanu yadā parairhṛtaḥ; sa ca dhṛtarāṣṭrasuto vimokṣitaḥ ,
dinakaraja narottamairyadā; maruṣu bahūnvinihatya tānarīn.

66. Surely you remember, O son of the sun (Karṇa), when that son of Dhṛtarāṣṭra was carried off by enemies and then liberated? (Do you not recall) when the best of men, having thoroughly defeated many of those foes in the desert, (secured his release)?
