योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-82, verse-39

क्रियते यत्तु यच्छक्त्या तत्तेनैव कृतं भवेत् ।
लुनाति दात्रं पुंशक्त्या लावकः प्रोच्यते पुमान ॥ ३९ ॥

kriyate yattu yacchaktyā tattenaiva kṛtaṃ bhavet ,
lunāti dātraṃ puṃśaktyā lāvakaḥ procyate pumāna 39

39. Whatever is done by a particular power (śakti), that should indeed be considered done by the one possessing that power. For example, a sickle cuts by a man's power, but it is the man who is called the reaper.

39. מה שנעשה באמצעות כוחו של מישהו, נעשה למעשה על ידי אותו גורם עצמו. המגל קוצר מתוך כוחו של האדם, ולכן האדם הוא שנקרא הקוצר.
