योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-82, verse-38

उपजीव चिरं तस्माच्छुद्धं तद्भागमैश्वरम् ।
जीवसीच्छसि हंसि त्वं वृथा यासि विवल्गसि ॥ ३८ ॥

upajīva ciraṃ tasmācchuddhaṃ tadbhāgamaiśvaram ,
jīvasīcchasi haṃsi tvaṃ vṛthā yāsi vivalgasi 38

38. upajīva ciram tasmāt śuddham tat bhāgam aiśvaram |
jīvasi icchasi haṃsi tvam vṛthā yāsi vivalgasi ||

38. tasmāt tvam śuddham tat aiśvaram bhāgam ciram
upajīva jīvasi icchasi haṃsi vṛthā yāsi vivalgasi

38. Therefore, for a long time, subsist on that pure, divine portion. (Otherwise,) you merely live, you desire, you destroy; you go about and boast in vain.
