The `Upagraha` Dhūma (vahni) should be considered for the first house (Lagna) and the fourth house; Vyātipāta (dvau) for the third house; Pariveṣa (śarāḥ) for the second house. For the fifth, eighth, eleventh, twelfth houses, and also for the tenth house (kheśa) and houses of affliction (kṣata-rāśi), the `Upagraha` Indracāpa (ṣaṭ) is considered.
