शने रवितनू सूर्यो लग्नेन्दुकुजसूर्यजाः ।
लग्नार्कौ जीवमन्दाराः सर्वे सूर्यं विना क्षते ॥५९॥
59. śane ravitanū sūryo lagnendukujasūryajāḥ .
lagnārkau jīvamandārāḥ sarve sūryaṃ vinā kṣate.
59. śane ravi-tanū sūryaḥ lagna-indu-kuja-sūryajāḥ
lagna-arkaū jīva-manda-ārāḥ sarve sūryaṃ vinā kṣate
59. Saturn; the Sun and the ascendant (Lagna); the Sun; the ascendant (Lagna), Moon, Mars, and Saturn; the ascendant (Lagna) and the Sun; and Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars – all these become subject to harm (kṣate) unless the Sun is present.
