मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-61, verse-7

तस्य बुद्धिरियं त्वासीदहं पश्ये वसुन्धराम् ।
अतिरम्यवनोद्यानां नानानगरशोभिताम् ॥७॥
7. tasya buddhiriyaṃ tvāsīdahaṃ paśye vasundharām .
atiramyavanodyānāṃ nānānagaraśobhitām.
7. tasya buddhiḥ iyaṃ tu āsīt aham paśye vasundharām
atiramya-vanodyānām nānānagaraśobhitām
7. His intention (buddhi) was this: "I should see the earth, which is adorned with exceedingly beautiful forests and gardens, and graced by many different cities."
