मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-61, verse-42

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवं सञ्चिन्तयन्ती सा दिव्ययोषित् स्मरातुरा ।
आत्मानं दर्शयामास कमनीयतराकृतिम् ॥४२॥
42. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
evaṃ sañcintayantī sā divyayoṣit smarāturā .
ātmānaṃ darśayāmāsa kamanīyatarākṛtim.
42. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca evam sañcintayantī sā divyayōṣit
smarāturā ātmānam darśayāmāsa kamanīyatarākṛtim
42. Mārkaṇḍeya said: Thus contemplating, that divine woman, tormented by love (smara), revealed her own (ātman) form, which was even more charming.
