मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-61, verse-54

अहो रम्यतरः स्वर्गो न यतो द्विजनन्दन ।
अतो वयं परित्यज्य तिष्ठामोऽत्र सुरालयम् ॥५४॥
54. aho ramyataraḥ svargo na yato dvijanandana .
ato vayaṃ parityajya tiṣṭhāmo'tra surālayam.
54. aho ramyataraḥ svargaḥ na yataḥ dvijanandana
ataḥ vayam parityajya tiṣṭhāmaḥ atra surālayam
54. Oh, heaven is exceedingly delightful, O son of a Brahmin (dvijanandana)! One does not return from it. Therefore, we have abandoned [the mortal realm] and reside here in the abode of the gods.
