मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-61, verse-29

प्रयास्यामि क्रियाहानिमग्निशुश्रूषणादिकम् ।
कथमत्र करिष्यामि सङ्कटं महदागतम् ॥२९॥
29. prayāsyāmi kriyāhānimagniśuśrūṣaṇādikam .
kathamatra kariṣyāmi saṅkaṭaṃ mahadāgatam.

29. I will have to abandon my ritualistic actions (karma), such as the service to the sacred fire and other rites. How will I perform them here? A great difficulty has arisen.
