मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-1, verse-99

ब्राह्मणो जायमानो हि पृथिव्यामधिजायते ।
ईश्वरः सर्वभूतानां धर्मकोशस्य गुप्तये ॥९९॥
99. brāhmaṇo jāyamāno hi pṛthivyāmadhijāyate ,
īśvaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ dharmakośasya guptaye.

99. Indeed, a brāhmaṇa, when he is born on earth, is born as a supreme lord over all beings, for the protection of the treasury of (dharma).
