मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-1, verse-44

अण्डजाः पक्षिणः सर्पा नक्रा मत्स्याश्च कच्छपाः ।
यानि चैवं ॥४४॥
44. aṇḍajāḥ pakṣiṇaḥ sarpā nakrā matsyāśca kacchapāḥ ,
yāni caivaṁ.
