मनु-स्मृतिः       manu-smṛtiḥ - chapter-1, verse-85

अन्ये कृतयुगे धर्मास्त्रेतायां द्वापरेऽपरे ।
अन्ये कलियुगे नॄणां युगह्रासानुरूपतः ॥८५॥
85. anye kṛtayuge dharmāstretāyāṁ dvāpare'pare ,
anye kaliyuge nṝṇāṁ yugahrāsānurūpataḥ.
85. anye kṛtayuge dharmāḥ tretāyām dvāpare apare
| anye kaliyuge nṝṇām yugahrāsānurūpataḥ
85. Different natural laws (dharma) apply in the Kṛta Yuga; others in the Tretā and Dvāpara Yugas. Still different principles are ordained for humans in the Kali Yuga, corresponding to the decline of the ages.
