दानं प्रतिग्रहं चैव ब्राह्मणानामकल्पयत ॥८८॥

He ordained teaching, studying, performing Vedic rituals, officiating Vedic rituals for others, giving (dāna), and indeed receiving gifts, as the duties for the Brahmins.
