महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-45, verse-33

एवमुक्त्वा महाराज सूतपुत्रः प्रतापवान् ।
प्रगृह्य विजयं वीरो धनुःश्रेष्ठं पुरातनम् ।
सज्यं कृत्वा महाराज संमृज्य च पुनः पुनः ॥३३॥
33. evamuktvā mahārāja sūtaputraḥ pratāpavān ,
pragṛhya vijayaṁ vīro dhanuḥśreṣṭhaṁ purātanam ,
sajyaṁ kṛtvā mahārāja saṁmṛjya ca punaḥ punaḥ.

pratāpavān pragṛhya vijayam vīraḥ
dhanuḥ-śreṣṭham purātanam sajyam kṛtvā
mahārāja saṃmṛjya ca punaḥ punaḥ

dhanuḥ-śreṣṭham purātanam pragṛhya
sajyam kṛtvā ca punaḥ punaḥ saṃmṛjya
33. O great king (mahārāja), having thus spoken, the mighty son of the charioteer, that hero, grasped the ancient and supreme bow called Vijaya, and having strung it and cleaned it again and again, (he did this).
