महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-45, verse-14

तमापतन्तं परिघं कार्तस्वरविभूषितम् ।
द्रौणिश्चिच्छेद सहसा तत उच्चुक्रुशुर्जनाः ॥१४॥
14. tamāpatantaṁ parighaṁ kārtasvaravibhūṣitam ,
drauṇiściccheda sahasā tata uccukruśurjanāḥ.

drauṇiḥ ciccheda sahasā tataḥ uccukruśuḥ janāḥ

14. Drauni suddenly cut down that rapidly approaching mace, which was adorned with gold (kārtasvara); then, the people cried out loudly.
