ततो दुर्योधनः कर्णमब्रवीत्प्रणयादिव ।
पश्य कर्ण यथा सेना पाण्डवैरर्दिता भृशम् ॥२८॥

28. Then Duryodhana spoke to Karna, as if with great affection: 'Look, Karna, how severely the army has been afflicted by the Pandavas!'
