Maheśvara (Shiva) said, 'O gods, it is known to me how this immensely powerful (sumahābalā) and terrible (ghorā) being (kṛtyā), born from the divine radiance of Tvaṣṭā, is difficult for those of undisciplined mind (akṛtātman) to resist.'
