महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-69, verse-28

अपि शक्यो रणे जेतुं वज्रहस्तः पुरंदरः ।
नार्जुनः समरे शक्यो जेतुं परपुरंजयः ॥२८॥
28. api śakyo raṇe jetuṁ vajrahastaḥ puraṁdaraḥ ,
nārjunaḥ samare śakyo jetuṁ parapuraṁjayaḥ.

28. Even Purandara (Indra), wielding the thunderbolt (vajra), might be conquered in battle; but Arjuna, the conqueror of enemy cities, cannot possibly be conquered in battle.
