मधु मांसं च ये नित्यं वर्जयन्तीह धार्मिकाः ।
जन्मप्रभृति मद्यं च सर्वे ते मुनयः स्मृताः ।

73. Those righteous individuals who, from birth, consistently abstain from honey, meat, and intoxicating drinks in this world, all of them are considered sages (muni). They also attain superiority among their relatives; there is no doubt about this.
